Welcome to From the Resurrection to the End of the
World to Eternity”. Come and join us on a voyage down through time to
eternity. This book was prepared to give you an overview of the events and the
order in which they will happen; starting at the first resurrection and going
through the tribulation period to the coming of the Lord at Armageddon. Then
the one thousand year reign of Christ on the earth, the “Millennium”, after
which comes the total destruction of the heavens and the earth as we know them,
followed by the Great White Throne Judgment where all the unsaved dead will be
raised to face judgment of all their works before being put into the lake of
fire where they will exist forever.
We pray that this book will be a blessing
to you and your family and your friends and will answer your questions as to
what will happen in the future according to the Word of God. The truths
contained in this book are based on the final authority, the Word of God, the
Holy Bible. All scripture references are from the King James Version, God’s
Holy Word.

PART 1 — The First Resurrection
The first phase of
the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ
At the time of the writing of this
book, the sudden, unannounced coming of the Lord for His own has not taken
place. However, you may be reading this book after the sudden disappearance of
God’s people from this earth. If that’s the case, you will find that this book
will explain what is going to happen to mankind. Also, you will learn how to
escape the awful judgment of God coming on the world. “Warning” if your are reading this book before
the year 2012. the world is not coming to an end. However life as you know it may
change because of the Resurrection. If that happens the world would still exist for at least another 1,007
years, before God destroys this universe, and creates new heavens and a new
earth. If you are reading this after the year 2012 then by now you know the
world did not come to the end this all
is covered later in this book on part 7.
To understand the doctrine of the
resurrection for the saved, we must go back to the resurrection of Christ.
1 Corinthians 15: 1-4
1 Moreover, brethren, I
declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have
received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye
keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he
was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1 Corinthians 15: 20-26
20 But now is Christ risen
from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For
since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are
Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have
delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down
all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he
hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be
destroyed is death.
You see that the Lord Jesus Christ was
the first fruits or first phase of the first resurrection. There will be no
signs or warnings of the next phase of the resurrection. The Lord Jesus Christ
may come at any second for His own. You must understand that the resurrection
is imminent which means that the Lord could have come at any time during the
whole New Testament age. The Lord Jesus said Himself in Matthew to his
disciples:
Matthew 24: 42, 44
42 Watch therefore: for ye
know not what hour your Lord doth come. . . . 44 Therefore be ye
also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 25: 13
13 Watch therefore, for ye
know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Let us take a look at what the Apostle
Paul had to say concerning the sudden appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15: 51-58
51 Behold, I shew you a
mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In
a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on
immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be
brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The
sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But
thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in
the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in
the Lord.
Now you will also see from the next scripture
reference that the Apostle Paul himself was expecting the Lord to come in his
lifetime.
1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18
13 But I would not have you
to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not,
even as others which have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus
died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with
him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we
which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them
which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in
the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort
one another with these words.
Paul was explaining to the Thessalonian
saints that when the Lord came that their dead loved ones that were saved would
be with the Lord. Please note verse 16.
1 Thessalonians 4: 16
16 For the Lord himself
shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and
with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Now you see that the very essence of
the resurrection is the sudden appearing of the Lord to take His own home to
heaven. In the Gospel of John, Jesus tells His disciples plainly:
John 14: 1-6
1 Let not your heart be
troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's
house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to
prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may
be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we
know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and
the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
He assures them He is going to prepare
a place for them in heaven and he will return to receive them. And, He also
tells them, He is the only way to heaven. There is also another very interesting
reference to the coming of the Lord for His own. When the Lord was finished
giving the letters to the seven churches to the Apostle John in the Revelation
the very next event John is caught up to heaven to see future events.
Revelation 4: 1
1 After this I looked,
and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was
as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will
shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Revelation 1:1-3
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God
gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to

Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus
Christ, and of all things that he saw.
(3) Blessed is he that readeth,
and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are
written therein: for the time is at hand.
Greetings to the Seven Churches
Revelation 1:4-8
John to the seven churches which are in
Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which
is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; (5)
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first
begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that
loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, (6)
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be
glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
(7) Behold, he cometh with
clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all
kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (8) I

which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

are not, and hast found them liars:
(3) And hast borne, and hast patience,
and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. (4)
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy

fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee
quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou
repent. (6) But this thou hast, that thou hatest the
deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
(7) He that hath an ear, let him

give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth
herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication,
and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
(21) And I gave her space to

Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue

The scene in heaven, the 24 elders, the lamb and

Revelation 4:1-11
After this I looked, and, behold, a door
was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a
trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee
things which must be hereafter. (2) And immediately I was in the spirit: and,
behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. (3)
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and
there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. (4)
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the
seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they
had on their heads crowns of gold.
(5) And out of the throne
proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of
fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. (6)
And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in
the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of
eyes before and behind. (7) And the first beast was like a lion, and the
second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the
fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
(8) And the four beasts had each
of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest
not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and
is, and is to come. (9) And when those beasts give glory and honour
and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, (10)
The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne,
and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the
throne, saying, (11) Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and
honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they
are and were created.
Revelation 5:1-14
And I saw in the right hand of him that
sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven
seals. (2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a
loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals
thereof? (3) And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither
under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. (4)
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the
book, neither to look thereon. (5) And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep
not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed
to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. (6)
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four
beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain,
having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent
forth into all the earth. (7) And he came and took the book out of the
right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
(8) And when he had taken the
book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb,
having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the
prayers of saints. (9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art
worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain,
and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and
people, and nation; (10) And hast made us unto our God kings and
priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
(11) And I beheld, and I heard
the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders:
and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of
thousands; (12) Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that
was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour,
and glory, and blessing. (13) And every creature which is in heaven, and on
the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in
them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him
that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. (14)
And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down
and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
PART 3 — The
Revealing and Rise of the Antichrist
The Beast — The
Man of Sin — The Son of Perdition
Let me take this time to give you an
overview of the events that will take place and the order in which they will
come. To fully understand this we must go back to the Old Testament and see
what God’s plan for
Daniel 9: 25-26
25 Know therefore and
understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to
build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and
threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even
in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall
Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that
shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall
be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Since the death, burial, and
resurrection of Christ and His ascension to heaven, we have been in a pause of
this prophecy. This gap in between is referred to as the church age.
Matthew 16: 18
18 And I say also unto
thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the
gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
The church age will come to an end when
the bride (the church, which is His body)
Colossians 1: 18
18 And he is the head of
the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that
in all things he might have the preeminence.
Is taken up in the resurrection.
John 14: 3
3 And if I go and prepare
a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I
am, there ye may be also.
The Lord promises to come and take us
(the saved) home to heaven to be with Him.
Revelation 4:1
After this I looked, and, behold, a door
was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a
trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee
things which must be hereafter.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
(16)
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the
voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall
rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so
shall we ever be with the Lord.
The Revealing of
the Antichrist
There has been much speculation as to
who the antichrist is, or his identity. If you are reading this before his rise
to power as leader of the world you must realize his identity will not be
known. The truth is it is not as important to know who he is now. But you must
realize who he ends up being. Just as God is a trinity, God the Father, God the
Son the Lord Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit; Satan also has a trinity (Satan
the dragon, the father of lies; the son of Satan, the beast; the
antichrist, the son of perdition, the unholy spirit, the evil spirit of
Satan operating through the false prophet during the tribulation.) The real
identity of the antichrist is that he is none other than Satan in the flesh.
Luke 22: 3
3 Then entered Satan into
Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
Just as Satan entered the body of Judas, who betrayed
Jesus, he will also totally control the antichrist. I hope you realize by now
that Satan is a master at lying and deceiving people. His design is to trick,
fool, and totally control people. He has always wanted to be worshipped like
God.
Isaiah 14; 12-15
12 How art thou fallen from
heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground,
which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine
heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of
God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the
north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be
like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to
the sides of the pit.
The five “I wills” of Satan show his
rebellion against God.
Ezekiel 28:11-19
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto
me, saying, (12) Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the
king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the
sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
(13) Thou hast been in Eden the
garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and
the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald,
and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes
was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. (14)
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou
wast upon the holy
He also tried to tempt Jesus.
Matthew 4: 1-11
1 Then was Jesus led up of
the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And
when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command
that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is
written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth
out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the
holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith
unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He
shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall
bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy
God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high
mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou
wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get
thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and
him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and,
behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
When the antichrist comes on the scene,
he comes as a peace maker, a hero. His rise to power is unparalleled in human
history. In II Thessalonians, Chapter 2, the Apostle Paul explains his rise to
power.
2 Thessalonians 2: 1-11
1 Now we beseech you,
brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together
unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled,
neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of
Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that
day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin
be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth
himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember
ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For
the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let,
until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be
revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall
destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming
is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because
they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should
believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but
had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Some Bible scholars believe the falling
away in verse 3 has to do with apostasy or falling away of the Christian faith.
Since our faith has been up and down through the centuries, I don’t believe
this is the case. I think it is a reference to our falling away at the
resurrection. Before he is revealed, we must be taken out. Notice in verse 7
the he here must refer to the Holy Spirit. “.
. . he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” The
Holy Spirit lives in the body of Christians. The word let or letteth is an old
English word that means hinder. The
restraining influence of the Holy Spirit will be removed when we are
resurrected. Then verse 8:
2 Thessalonians 2: 8
8 And then shall that
Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth,
and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Revelation 6: 1-2
1 And I saw when the Lamb

the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a
white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him:
and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
He is the rider of the white horse.
Here he is trying to look like the Messiah that most of the Jews are still
looking for. What follows Is the worst destruction this world has ever seen.
Jesus told us about this time in Matthew 24:1-44
Matthew 24: 1- 44
1 And Jesus went out, and
departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the
buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all
these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone
upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3 And as he sat upon
the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us,
when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of
the end of the world? 4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take
heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name,
saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of
wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things
must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise
against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and
pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the
beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be
afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my
name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray
one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets
shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall
abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure
unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the
kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and
then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy
place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which
be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17 Let him which is on the
housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18
Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those
days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither
on the sabbath day: 21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as
was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but
for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any
man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great
signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the
very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not
forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27 For
as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so
shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 For wheresoever the
carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. 29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and
the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and
the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear
the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the
earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a
great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the
four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 32 Now learn a
parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth
leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye
shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be
fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall
not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not
the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noe
were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in
the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and
giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the
coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the
one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be
grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the
thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house
to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour
as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Daniel
24 Seventy weeks are
determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression,
and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to
bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and
to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from
the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the
Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the
street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for
himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city
and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end
of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the
covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause
the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of
abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that
determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Most all of what happens in this period
is revealed in the book of Revelation.
Daniel 12:4
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and
seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and
knowledge shall be increased.
Revelation 6:1-4
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the
seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts
saying, Come and see. (2) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he
that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth
conquering, and to conquer. (3) And when he had opened the second seal, I
heard the second beast say, Come and see.
(4) And there went out another
horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace
from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto
him a great sword.
Jeremiah 25:30-33
Therefore prophesy thou against them all
these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his
voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he
shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants
of the earth. (31) A noise shall come even to the ends of the
earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all
flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD. (32)
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to
nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the
earth. (33) And the slain of the LORD shall be at that
day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall
not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the
ground.
Revelation 6:5-17
And when he had opened the third seal, I
heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse;
and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. (6) And
I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a
penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil
and the wine. (7) And when he had opened the fourth seal, I
heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. (8)
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was
Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the
fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death,
and with the beasts of the earth. (9) And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw
under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for
the testimony which they held: (10) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How
long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them
that dwell on the earth? (11) And white robes were given unto every one of
them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season,
until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as
they were, should be fulfilled. (12) And I beheld when he had opened the sixth
seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as
sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; (13)
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth
her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. (14)
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and
every mountain and island were moved out of their places. (15)
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the
chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid
themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; (16)
And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the
face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: (17)
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Revelation 7:1
And after these things I saw four angels
standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth,
that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
Isaiah 66:8
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen
such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a
nation be born at once? for as soon as
Zechariah 13:6
And one shall say unto him, What are these
wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in
the house of my friends.
Zechariah 12:10
And I will pour upon the house of David,
and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of
supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they
shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in
bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Revelation 7:2-17
And I saw another angel ascending from the
east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the
four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, (3)
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have
sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. (4)
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed
an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of
Revelation 8:1-12
And when he had opened the seventh seal,
there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. (2)
And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given
seven trumpets. (3) And another angel came and stood at the
altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that
he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which
was before the throne. (4) And the smoke of the incense, which came with
the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. (5)
And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and
cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings,
and an earthquake. (6) And the seven angels which had the seven
trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
(7) The first angel sounded, and
there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the
earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt
up. (8)
And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning
with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became
blood; (9) And the third part of the creatures which
were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were
destroyed. (10) And the third angel sounded, and there fell a
great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third
part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; (11)
And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the
waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made
bitter. (12) And the fourth angel sounded, and the third
part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part
of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not
for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
Sixteen hour days!!! Eight hours of
light, eight hours of darkness.
Revelation 8:13
And
I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a
loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the
other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
Revelation 9: 1- 21
1 And the fifth angel
sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given
the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit;
and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and
the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given
power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 And it was
commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any
green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of
God in their foreheads. 5 And to them it was given that they should
not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment
was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6 And in
those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to
die, and death shall flee from them. 7 And the shapes of the locusts
were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were
crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8 And
they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the
sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to
battle. 10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were
stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11
And they had a king over them, which is
the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon,
but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. 12 One woe is past;
and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. 13 And the sixth
angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar
which is before God, 14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the
trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river
Revelation 10: 1- 11
1 And I saw another mighty
angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his
head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2
And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the
sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3 And cried with a loud voice,
as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their
voices. 4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I
was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up
those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. 5
And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his
hand to heaven, 6And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who
created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things
that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there
should be time no longer: 7 But in the days of the voice of the
seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be
finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. 8 And
the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take
the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the
sea and upon the earth. 9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto
him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and
it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10
And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was
in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many
peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Revelation 12:1-6
And there appeared a great wonder in
heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her
head a crown of twelve stars: (2) And she being with child cried, travailing in
birth, and pained to be delivered.
(3) And there appeared another
wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten
horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
(4) And his tail drew the third
part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon
stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child
as soon as it was born. (5) And she brought forth a man child, who was to
rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and
to his throne. (6) And the woman fled into the wilderness, where
she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand
two hundred and threescore days.

Revelation 12:7-17
And
there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and
the dragon fought and his angels,
(8) And prevailed not; neither
was their place found any more in heaven.
(9) And the great dragon was cast
out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole
world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with
him. (10) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,
Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power
of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them
before our God day and night. (11) And they overcame him by the blood of the
Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto
the death. (12) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that
dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil
is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but
a short time. (13) And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto
the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. (14)
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might
fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and
times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. (15)
And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman,
that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. (16)
And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and
swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. (17)
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the
remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony
of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 13:1-7
And
I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea,
having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his
heads the name of blasphemy. (2) And the beast which I saw was like unto a
leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of
a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great
authority. (3) And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded
to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the
beast. (4) And they worshipped the dragon which gave
power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto
the beast? who is able to make war with him?
(5) And there was given unto him
a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to
continue forty and two months. (6) And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against
God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in
heaven. (7) And it was given unto him to make war with
the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds,
and tongues, and nations.
Warning!!! To those who are
planning to wait until after the resurrection it will be to late.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-17
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, (2)
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit,
nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at
hand. (3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that
day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin
be revealed, the son of perdition;
(4) Who opposeth and exalteth
himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (5)
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? (6)
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his
time. (7) For the mystery of iniquity doth already
work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. (8)
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with
the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his
coming: (9) Even him, whose coming is after the working
of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, (10)
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (11)
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should
believe a lie: (12) That they all might be damned who believed
not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (13)
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved
of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation
through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: (14)
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of
our Lord Jesus Christ. (15) Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the
traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. (16)
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath
loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through
grace, (17) Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in
every good word and work.
Revelation 13:8-18
And all that dwell upon the earth shall
worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain
from the foundation of the world.
(9) If any man have an ear, let
him hear. (10) He that leadeth into captivity shall go into
captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here
is the patience and the faith of the saints.
(11) And I beheld another beast
coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a
dragon. (12) And he exerciseth all the power of the first
beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship
the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
(13) And he doeth great wonders,
so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, (14)
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those
miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them
that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had
the wound by a sword, and did live.
(15) And he had power to give
life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both
speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast
should be killed. (16) And he causeth all, both small and great,
rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in
their foreheads: (17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he
that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (18)
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the
beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore
and six.

Ezekiel 38:1-23
And the word of the LORD came unto me,
saying, (2) Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the
land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against
him, (3)
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the
chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
(4) And I will turn thee back,
and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army,
horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great
company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: (5)
Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and
helmet: (6) Gomer, and all his bands; the house of
Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. (7) Be
thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are
assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. (8)
After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt
come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of
many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but
it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of
them. (9) Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou
shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many
people with thee. (10) Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come
to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt
think an evil thought: (11) And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land
of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely,
all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, (12)
To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the
desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered
out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst
of the land. (13)
Revelation 15: 1- 8
1 And I saw another sign
in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues;
for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 2 And I saw as it were a
sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the
beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name,
stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing
the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great
and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways,
thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify
thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before
thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. 5 And after that I
looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven
was opened: 6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having
the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts
girded with golden girdles. 7 And one of the four beasts gave unto
the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for
ever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory
of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till
the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
Revelation 16: 1- 21
1 And I heard a great
voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out
the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth;
and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of
the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. 3 And the
second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a
dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. 4 And the third
angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they
became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art
righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged
thus. 6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and
thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7 And I
heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and
righteous are thy judgments. 8 And the fourth angel poured out his
vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which
hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. 10
And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his
kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11And
blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and
repented not of their deeds. 12 And the sixth angel poured out his
vial upon the great river
Revelation 17: 1- 18
1
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked
with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the
great whore that sitteth upon many waters: 2 With whom the kings of
the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have
been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 3 So he carried me
away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet
coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold
and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of
abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her
forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS
AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with
the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I
saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7 And the angel said unto
me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and
of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. 8
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless
pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder,
whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the
world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9
And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on
which the woman sitteth. 10 And there are seven kings: five are
fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must
continue a short space. 11And the beast that was, and is not, even
he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. 12
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no
kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These
have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is
Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and
chosen, and faithful. 15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou
sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and
tongues. 16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast,
these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall
eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. 17 For God hath put in their
hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast,
until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18 And the woman which
thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
Revelation 18: 1- 24
1 And after these things I
saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was
lightened with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a strong
voice, saying,
Revelation 19: 1- 6
1 And after these things I
heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and
glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 2 For true and
righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did
corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his
servants at her hand. 3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke
rose up for ever and ever. 4 And the four and twenty elders and the
four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen;
Alleluia. 5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our
God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. 6And
I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many
waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord
God omnipotent reigneth.
PART 5 — The Return of the Lord Jesus Christ
The second phase
or the third coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It must be said that God is very
patient. He has been very long suffering toward man. He has put up with man’s
rejection and rebellion for nearly 6000 years up to now. Christ came into this
world as a humble servant to die for the sins of this world.
Luke 19: 10
10
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Isaiah 53: 6
6 All we like sheep have
gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on
him the iniquity of us all.
Romans 5: 5
8 But God commendeth his
love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Now this is no longer the babe from
John 1: 3: 3
3
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was
made.
John
10 He was in the world, and
the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came
unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them
that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of
the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The Return of the
Lord Jesus Christ
“Armageddon”
The return of the Lord will end with a
major battle, referred to as “Armageddon”, which will be fought in that great
valley in Israel where some of the greatest battles have already been fought
down through the centuries. It is referred to as the valley of decision.
Joel 3: 14
14 Multitudes, multitudes
in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of
decision.
Also, it is called the
Joel 3: 2
2 I will also gather all
nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will
plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have
scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
Joel 3: 12
12 Let the heathen be
wakened, and come up to the
This is also the site of the Great
Supper of God. All nations will be called to this supper, an orgy of man’s
blood shed because of his rejection of Christ.
Revelation
11 And I saw heaven opened,
and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and
True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes
were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name
written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with
a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in
fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp
sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a
rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of
Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name
written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17 And I saw an angel
standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls
that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the
supper of the great God; 18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and
the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses,
and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond,
both small and great. 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the
earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on
the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and
with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he
deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped
his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with
brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that
sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls
were filled with their flesh.
Just think, Jesus laid down His life for you and I.
John
14 I am the good shepherd,
and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth
me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and
they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take
it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.
I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This
commandment have I received of my Father.
He shed His blood that you and I could
receive eternal life by trusting in what He did for us at
Let me take this time to ask you a
question. If you were to die today, are you sure you would go to heaven? I’m
not asking if you believe in God. I’m not asking you if you are a church
member. I’m not asking you if you are trying to do the best you can. I’m asking
you if you have ever came to the point in your life where you realized that you
were a sinner headed to hell, without hope, realizing you must repent and ask
God to forgive you of your sins and trust in the death, burial, and
resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ for the payment of your sins.
five things God wants you to know.
1.
We are all sinners.
Romans 3: 23 For all have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Isaiah 53: 6 All we like
sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD
hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Romans 3: 10 As it is
written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
2.
We all owe a sin debt.
Romans 6: 23 For the wages
of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.
Revelation
3.
We cannot save ourselves.
Ephesians 2: 8-
9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
4.
Jesus has already paid our debt.
Romans 5: 8 But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us.
John 14: 6 Jesus saith
unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father,
but by me.
5.
We must all get right with God and trust Jesus
as our personal savior.
Luke 13: 5 I tell you,
Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Romans 10: 9 That if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10: 13 For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 3: 36 He that
believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son
shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
If you would like to trust the Lord for
you salvation, you may pray this simple prayer of faith to receive His free
gift of salvation.
Dear Lord
Jesus, realizing that I am a sinner, please have mercy on me. I do trust you
for my salvation. Amen
Did you just call on the Lord? If you prayed this
prayer, you may be asking, “How do I know I am saved?” We know because the Word
of God tells us so.
Romans 10: 13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved.
John 3: 16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
The Bible says, if we trusted the Lord
Jesus, God’s only begotten son, He has given us eternal life. Some other verses
that tell us we are now His forever:
John 6: 37
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and
him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
John
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they
follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me,
is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
I and my Father are one.
I John
And this is the record, that God hath given to us
eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and
he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto
you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have
eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Yes, we can have comfort that He will
never leave us.
Hebrews 13: 5
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and
be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee.
My friend, we are not saved because we
are holding onto Jesus. We are saved because He is holding onto us. We are not
saved by our works. We are saved to work for Him.
Matthew 25:31-46
When the Son of man shall come in his
glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of
his glory: (32) And before him shall be gathered all nations:
and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep
from the goats: (33) And he shall set the sheep on his right hand,
but the goats on the left. (34) Then shall the King say unto them on his
right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you
from the foundation of the world:
(35) For I was an hungred, and ye
gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye
took me in: (36) Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye
visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. (37)
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an
hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? (38)
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed
thee? (39) Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and
came unto thee? (40) And the King shall answer and say unto them,
Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of
these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
(41) Then shall he say also unto
them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels:
(42) For I was an hungred, and ye
gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: (43) I
was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and
in prison, and ye visited me not.
(44) Then shall they also answer
him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or
naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? (45)
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye
did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. (46)
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous
into life eternal.

Judgment of
Nations at the Return of the Lord Jesus
Matthew 25: 31- 46
When the Son of man shall come in his glory,
and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his

At this judgment of the nations, there
are two Jewish and gentile groups; the sheep, true believers; and, the goats,
the unsaved. We must realize that these are they that made it alive through the
awful tribulation. These unsaved are judged as to how they treated the Jewish
and gentile believers during this time.
Satan is Put Away
and Bound for a Thousand Years
Revelation 20: 1- 3
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having
the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold
on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a
thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set
a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand
years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Not a lot is said or written about this
1000 year period. It is very important. The day of the Lord begins with His
judgment of the earth and continues through the 1000 years of peace. In the
Bible it says in II Peter:
II Peter 3: 8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one
day.
One theory may be, since man’s number
is 6, God may have given man 6 thousand years to govern and rule this world. He
then sends His Son to reign and rule for the last 1000 years, a true Sabbath’s
day of rest for this earth. We will know one day for sure.
The Millennium
There are many scriptures that tell us
about this time. One in Isaiah tells how Jesus will reign and rule.
Isaiah 9: 6- 7
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is
given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no
end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish
it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of
the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Also in Daniel:
Daniel 2:31-35
Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image.
This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the
form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and
his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his
feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without
hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and
brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and
the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer
threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for
them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled
the whole earth.
Daniel 2:44-45
And in the days of these kings shall the God of
heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall
not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these
kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone
was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the
iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made
known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain,
and the interpretation thereof sure.

The earth will be restored to the
likeness of the Garden of Eden.
Isaiah 11:1-9
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of
Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD
shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of
counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And
shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not
judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his
ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity
for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his
mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And
righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of
his reins. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie
down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their
young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child
shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in
all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea.
You see here how the animal kingdom is
at peace with mankind.
Isaiah 65:25
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the
lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
There Will Be Real
Law and Order and Perfect Justice
You hear a lot these days about the New
World Order of man. Please let us not confuse this with the real new world
order that will be set up by the Lord Jesus Christ. There will be real justice
where lawyers will be outlawed and capital punishment (the death penalty) will
be carried out quickly.
Isaiah 13:11
And I will punish the world for their evil, and the
wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to
cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
No one will get away with disobeying
God in these days.
Isaiah 66:23-24
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon
to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship
before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases
of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die,
neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all
flesh.
The Lord Jesus,
King of Kings
Zechariah 14:9
And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in
that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you,
That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall
sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging
the twelve tribes of
What a day this will be. How exciting
to reign and rule with the Lord Jesus in a world with real peace. Some food for
thought: have you ever wondered, as a Christian, what you will be doing during
this time. You must keep in mind that people will still be born with physical bodies.
The aging process will revert to the way it was following the Garden of Eden.
Isaiah 65:19-25
And I will rejoice in
Even though people will be compelled to
do right, that does not mean that they will be saved. They must believe in and
trust the Lord Jesus who died for their sins just like you and I. So, I believe
we will still be winning souls and witnessing just as now. And, you can see
from the next event, that many, many people did not trust the Lord but chose
rather to follow Satan to their doom.
Satan Will Be
Loosed Out of the Bottomless Pit
Revelation 20:7-8
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan
shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations
which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them
together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Some wonder why God would let Satan
loose. The Lord has always given man a choice. In letting Satan out to deceive
man, he has the choice to follow the Lord or Satan.
Man’s Final
Conflict — The Last War — Such a Stupid War
Revelation 20:7-10
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan
shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations
which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them
together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went
up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and
the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night
for ever and ever.
If there was ever a war fought in vain,
this is the one. How could these people, after living in a world of peace under
the Lord, choose to follow Satan and think that they would stand a chance
against God. This just goes to show you man’s lost condition and that he would
rather follow Satan’s darkness rather than choose to trust the Lord Jesus
Christ.
PART 7 — The
Renovation of the Heavens and the Earth and The Great White Throne Judgment.
These two events may happen at the same
time.
Revelation 20:11
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on
it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no
place for them.
The End of the
World as We Know It
We will try to answer several questions
concerning the end of the world. You may be asking, when will this happen? It
will happen one thousand and seven years after the rapture of the church age
saints. A lot of people think that man will destroy the world. Not so. The
Bible is clear and tells us exactly how God will bring this about.
II Peter 3:10-13
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the
night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the
elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are
therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be
dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and
godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein
the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens
and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
A careful study of these scriptures
tells us that the Lord will totally destroy all the heavens and earth. The
heavens shall pass away with a great noise. You may have heard of man talking
about the “Big Bang” theory. Well, here we see that the Lord is in total
control. He, and He alone, is the only source able to do this. All will be
dissolved. The very building blocks of matter, the elements, shall melt with
fervent heat.
You may be asking “Why?” And “What will
bring this about?”
In preparing for the final judgment, a
Holy, awesome God gets ready by annihilating the universe. Nothing can remain
unless He shields it. Yes. The cause of the end of the world is in the awesome
and furious face of Jesus Christ. This is not the same loving face of the
savior. This is not the face of compassion. This is not the face of a forgiving
God. This is now the face of a very angry God. This is now the face of a God
with no mercy. This is now the face of God that sheds no tears. He offers no
hope. This is now:
The Great White
Throne Judgment — Payday — Some Day!!!
The Second, or
Last, Resurrection
Revelation 20:11-15
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on
it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no
place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and
the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books,
according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and
death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged
every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake
of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the
book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Daniel also refers to this time.
Daniel 7:9-10
I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and
the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of
his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his
wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him:
thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand
stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
This is when all the unsaved dead will
be judged. Just think, all the people that ever lived and never trusted Christ
for salvation. There will be billions upon billions of people there. Revelation
chapter 20, verse 12 says, “. . . the dead, small and great. . .”Just think,
from the lowest form of humans, all the way up to kings and presidents, will be
there. Everyone that got away with murder, thieves, drunkards, all liars, will
have their part in the lake of fire. There will be no excuses accepted at this
judgment. No mercy whatsoever.
And the Books Were
Opened
The opening of the books for those who
have not trusted Jesus Christ for salvation. God keeps perfect records. Every
deed and sin is recorded in these books. In addition to the books that contain
their works, another book was opened which is the book of life. This book will
show that their name was blotted out of the book of life when they rejected
Christ. Moses referred to this book in a conversation with the Lord one day.
Exodus 32:31-33
And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh,
this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. Yet now,
if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy
book which thou hast written. And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath
sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Another reference:
Deuteronomy 29:20
The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of
the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that
are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his
name from under heaven.
In one of the seven letters written to
the seven churches in Revelation, Jesus says:
Revelation 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in
white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I
will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Another reference in the Psalms:
Psalms 69:28
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living,
and not be written with the righteous.
Let us not forget the most important
book at this judgment; the word of God. You cannot separate the word of God
from Jesus.
John 1:1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All
things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
The Lord Jesus warned about the word of
God being a judge in the last day.
John 12:47-48
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I
judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He
that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the
word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Keep in mind, even if one does not
believe the Bible, it does not change anything. Man’s unbelief does not change
God. It just condemns man to hell and the lake of fire. What a tragedy. Just
imagine all these people could have been saved.
II Peter 3:3-13
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the
last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the
promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue
as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are
ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth
standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was,
being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are
now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of
judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this
one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand
years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men
count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should
perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will
come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a
great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and
the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these
things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy
conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day
of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements
shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look
for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Have you trusted the Lord? If not, you
can ask Him to forgive you of your sins and trust Him for your salvation now.
You may pray, “Lord be merciful to me a sinner. I do trust you as my savior.
Amen.”
Being saved is the greatest gift of all.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God
is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
PART 8 — God’s Second Creation Of The
New Heavens and A New Earth.
The reconstruction
of the universe and the earth
Isaiah 57:15
For thus saith the high and lofty One that
inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of
the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Welcome to eternity, the age of ages,
where time will not matter. Awesome! See God create new heavens and earth.
Isaiah 65:17-19
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:
and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and
rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create
Some people ask the questions; “Will we
remember our lost loved ones who have gone to hell?”; “Will we be sad?” I think
not. Notice the scripture in Isaiah 65:17, “For,
behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”
Also note this:
Revelation 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall
there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Eternity in the new heavens and earth
will be beyond our description at this time. We do know something about the
Revelation 21: 1- 27
1 And I saw a new heaven
and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and
there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new
Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for
her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and
they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall
be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more
pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon
the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for
these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is
done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him
that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He
that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall
be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and
murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the
second death. 9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which
had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying,
Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. 10 And he
carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that
great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11
Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious,
even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12 And had a wall great
and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names
written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of
Israel: 13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the
south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of
the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles
of the Lamb. 15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to
measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16
And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and
he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and
the breadth and the height of it are equal. 17 And he measured the
wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of
a man, that is, of the angel. 18 And the building of the wall of it
was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19
And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of
precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the
third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20 The fifth, sardonyx;
the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a
topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an
amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several
gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were
transparent glass. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And the city had no
need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did
lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And the nations of
them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth
do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it
shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26
And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither
whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in
the Lamb's book of life.
Revelation 22: 1- 21
1 And he shewed me a pure
river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God
and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either
side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of
fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for
the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but
the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve
him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their
foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no
candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they
shall reign for ever and ever. 6 And he said unto me, These sayings
are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to
shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. 7
Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy
of this book. 8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And
when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel
which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do
it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of
them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he
saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time
is at hand. 11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he
which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be
righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And,
behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according
as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the
end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his
commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in
through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers,
and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh
a lie. 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these
things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the
bright and morning star. 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.
And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And
whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 18 For I
testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If
any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that
are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the
words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the
book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written
in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I
come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Wow! Where to start? Let’s go back to see
what the Lord Jesus said about heaven in:
John 14: 1- 3
1 Let not your heart be
troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's
house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to
prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may
be also.
In verse 2, Jesus said, “In
my Father's house are many mansions. . .” I don’t think we will have to
worry about housing. Then Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you.”
Now we can see, New Jerusalem is a prepared place; a bridal city prepared for
God’s people.
Do you know that the Lord wants us to
have the desires of our heart. Of course, these should be based on pleasing
Him. It says in:
Psalms 37: 3- 5
3 Trust in the LORD, and
do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine
heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he
shall bring it to pass.
You can see here, God wants to reward
us for faithful service. Maybe you always wanted to be able to sing or play the
piano, but, you did not have the talent. Was that a desire of your heart? Well,
in heaven you could be in the New Jerusalem choir, singing and playing your
heart out. Maybe there were things you wanted to do here on earth and you
didn’t have the money or time to do them. Don’t be shocked if you are able to
do all these things in heaven. You know I might ask the Lord if he would mind
if I tapped into the river of life and made me a lake in front of my home in
heaven, something I always desired for here. Or better yet, He may already have
one there. Now you may think these things are silly. But, the truth is, we
hardly know all that the Lord has prepared for us. New Jerusalem is 1500 miles
wide, 1500 miles high, 1500 miles in all directions. As heavenly saints, we
will also have access to the new earth. There will be no more sea. Praise God.
There will be no more darkness there; no night. There will be no sun, “. .
. for the Lord God giveth them light. . .”Revelation 22:5,
and we shall reign forever and ever.
As far as travel is concerned, I don’t
think that will be a problem. I don’t think it will be out of the question for
us to explore the new universe. That is impossible now but, then in our
glorified bodies note:
Philippians
20 For our conversation is
in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious
body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things
unto himself.
1 John 3: 2
2 Beloved, now are we the
sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
It is possible since we will have
bodies like Christ, that we will be able to be translated from one location to
another instantly. Don’t laugh. Don’t underestimate the power of God. It is
awesome; the power of His resurrection and His gift of eternal life.
What a book, the Bible! What
a Savior! What a God! What a future! What a heaven! What
an eternity!
Are you sure you are going to heaven?
If not, let me invite you to trust Jesus now. You can pray this simple prayer
of faith”
Dear
Lord Jesus, realizing that I am a sinner, please forgive me of my sins. I do
trust you as Lord and savior of my soul. Amen
God gives us assurance of His
salvation.
Romans 10: 9
9 That if thou shalt
confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10: 13
13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 8: 16
16 The Spirit itself
beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
John 3: 16
16 For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 6: 37
37 All that the Father
giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast
out.
John
27 My sheep hear my voice,
and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal
life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my
hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no
man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my
Father are one.
1 John
11 And this is the record,
that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not
life. 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the
name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye
may believe on the name of the Son of God.
This is how we know we are saved; because the Word of God
says so.
We
pray that this book has been a blessing to you, your family and friends. If you
trusted the Lord, I’ll see you in heaven.
May
the Lord bless you.
